Woodwind Quintet No. 1
Three of the four movements of Woodwind Quintet No. 1 was written as an assignment for Techniques of the Contemporary Composer, a class at Lawrence University.
I. Variations on 21 Notes- explores the technique of attack sets, most notably used by Milton Babbitt.
II. Passacaglia- explores techniques of Oliver Messiaen, such as isorhythms and non-retrogradable rhythms.

IV. Canon- attempts to bring the electronic technique of looping into an acoustic context.
