Sound an Alarm
for saxophone and percussion octet

This work serves as a plea for individuals, civil servants, and government leaders to sound an alarm against, and to stand up to injustice wherever it may be. The work is dedicated to the memory of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and so many other Black and Brown victims of injustice.

Sound an Alarm was commissioned by the University of Wisconsin at River Falls.
